Refund Policy for Hosts

Effective Date: Friday 9, 2025

When You Keep Your Payout

  • Customer no-shows
    → You get paid.

  • Customer cancels within 24 hours
    → You get paid.

  • Customer didn’t “vibe” or had personal issues
    → You get paid.

  • Pacaya issues a goodwill refund
    (for first-time complaints or edge cases)
    → We cover it — your payout is safe.

When You May Lose Your Payout

  • You cancel the event
    → Customer gets a full refund, you don’t get paid.

  • You no-show
    → Full refund to customer, no payout to you, plus a strike.

  • Event was misleading or unsafe
    (Wrong time/location, poor behavior, or broken trust)
    → Refund issued, payout withheld, host review triggered.

Dispute Process

  • 1st refund dispute
    → Pacaya absorbs cost, you’re protected.

  • 2nd dispute in 60 days
    → Payout held until resolved.

  • 3+ disputes in 90 days
    → Temporary suspension until issues are addressed.
