In-app safety protocol

We have an in-app safety protocol to send notifications to your next of kin or emergency contacts in the following scenarios:

  • Your Location: Share your location with friends or family.
  • Safety Check: Notify your emergency contacts if you’re in danger or need help.
  • Arrival Notification: Inform your contacts when you arrive safely at your destination.
  • Feeling Uncomfortable: Alert your contacts if you feel uneasy.
  • Immediate Danger: Send an emergency alert if you’re in immediate danger.
  • Health Issue: Notify your contacts if you encounter a health issue.
  • Lost or Disoriented: Inform your contacts if you get lost or disoriented.
  • Need a Quick Exit: Send a quick exit alert if you need to leave an event urgently.
  • Car Trouble: Notify your contacts if you experience car trouble.
  • Check-in Reminder: Remind yourself to check in with your contacts.
  • Late Night Walk Home: Share your location during late-night walks.
  • Unexpected Stay Over: Inform your contacts about an unexpected stay.

  • Use Reliable Information: Verify the details of activities/events, including the venue, date, and time. Ensure they match the information provided in the app.
  • Personal Information: Be cautious about sharing personal information with others. Avoid sharing sensitive data like your home address, phone number, or financial details.
  • Stay Informed: Stay updated on the latest guidelines and regulations in your area, especially if they relate to gatherings and events.
  • Trust Your Instincts: If something doesn’t feel right or makes you uncomfortable, trust your instincts. Your safety and well-being come first.
